"...if you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living."
-Joesph Campbell, The Power of Myth
You can't prove anything :)
Is that Molly the Mormon blog for real? I think I'm going to go over there and mess with her.
:) By all means, dfb, do it. I think that's the motivation behind it existing, after all.
Are you saying, La, that Bishop Rick has created the Molly the Mormon website just to mess with us?!And to lobby against satin in all its forms?
Yeah, what's going on? Eric refers to this blog entry as a "fiasco," but I'm not getting it.
Though I "can't prove anything", I have significant evidence that shows those two blogs are run by the same person. Go. Have your fun with Molly. Decide for yourself. I just wanted to throw the info out there.
I have a theory after reading Bishop Rick's comment here:http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=32025619&postID=115637707605521717I think Molly is his wife who's mad we've led him astray.L
There's no way that blog is for real. Also, it makes me want to vomit jell-o. :)
I wouldn't assume too quickly, Lisa. After all, there have been several strategically placed comments all over Outer Blogness. I need to write a new post for today! :)
If Bishop Rick is the same person as Molly the Mormon, then he's doing a good fake-out job. MtM can't seem to get through a sentence without throwing in a grammar, punctuation or spelling error. BR doesn't seem to share that lack of acuity. However, the MtM blog is almost certainly satirical, regardless of who's writing it.
Yeah, it's true about MtM's hellacious grammar. Which is why it seems so contrived, doesn't it?
I like stuff like that because there are actual people out there who do talk like that and feel that way, so it's a subtle parody despite its seeming obviousness. Wow, that was clear as mud.
I'm confused.Not unusual, in and of itself.But I'm still confused.*sigh*
Hey come on guys (and gals). I am being ragged on over there as well.
BR, are you talking about being ragged on for spelling Satan "Satin?":) Lisa
SML, rotflmaoNo, I was called a catholic pedophile by MtM for having Bishop in my poster name. But that's ok because she is praying for me.I see from one of her last posts that she has taken quite a liking to you...wants to swap jello recipes.Nice :)
I can't wait! She sounds like just the kind of woman who would LOOOOOVE my jello with shredded carrots recipe. She'll say "Holy Hannah! I can't believe how this tastes with my wedding potatoes and ham! I've GOT to include this in this year's Ward Relief Society Recipe Book!"
