Picture This (cause damnit I didn't have my camera):

I'm sitting here laptopping, blogging, emailing etc. I hear clinking in the kitchen so I decided I better get up and go check it out.

My nearly 2 yr old son is wearing only a diaper and standing on a chair he must've dragged across the kitchen to the counter. He has an open sippy cup in one hand and a pot of coffee in the other. I watch as he finishes pouring coffee into his sippy cup, sets down the pot, gets the lid, and starts to screw it into place. I tried to grab my camera but it doesn't have a memory card in it. :(

That kid in incorrigible! I swear...

Does he take it with cream and sugar or just black?

Wow. He is so lucky he didn't burn himself! He must have serious skills and also serious get-er-done attitude, huh? I love it.

Yes he takes it black.

And the coffee was cold. We don't leave it on after we pour our cups. And he's the most independent little booger I've ever met. :)

Not only do our daughters loooove coffee, but they love to go to my in-laws and brag about how daddy gives them coffee. He has, mabye twice. And we're talking 1 ounce of coffee to 8 ounces of milk. That's still enough to freak the in-laws out. Nice! :)

My daughter has always loved coffee, because my MIL always let her sip hers if she wanted. One time when my daughter (age 6) was sick, I took her to grandma's and when she walked into the house, she started sniffing the air, and then she said, "Hmmmm. What's that? Do I smell COFFEE?!" It was so cute. She couldn't have been more excited.

Wow! That's amazing!

So I guess the more important question is: did he like it? :)

I am sure he loves it, when he sees you drinking it. I used to try to get Eric to drink it 1:6 coffee and milk with sugar, (like my Dad made for me) but he always turned his nose up to it. Of course he was quite a bit older than 2 years old. Make sure he doesn'tget it at night or you'll be chasing him around and around even more than he already does. Good LUCK! My day is looking up, just picturing i my mind your's and Eric's blogs today.

Love ya!

Hee hee. Our boy learned to like tea and coffee this summer, cooled down. We'd pour just a wee bit onto a saucer for him, and he'd sip it off of that.

When he'd see me with a cup, he'd run a get a saucer, and try to suppress his excitement and try not to ask me directly, because he was a little embarassed. He acts the same when he wants a cookie or candy.
