I love lower back work!! Thanks for humoring a drunkass's request!! I like to watch dragonflies mating while flying...must be exciting!

Looks great.

I was worried that last night's post was somehow someone accidently drawing on you and then doing a drunk and blog post. :) Whew.

Stupid question. I love the art work, but how well do the fine details hold up in a tatoo? Can't there be issues with the ink bleeding into adjacent skin cells and muddying the details?

And no. Still not considering one.

Nice - I think I like the other one better, but this one is pretty too.

Bull - I read up on tattoos a little (since I don't want to go into it blindly), and it seems that if you get a good artist the details hold up well, although tattoos fade and will usually (always?) need to be touched up every few years or so. Ink bleeding happens if the tattoo is too far down in the skin - a good artist should know how far to go.

Very Nice! Darrin's an awesome artist. I liked the dragonfly in the previous picture (maybe it was just a closer picture so you could see the details better) but the clouds and rainbow in this one are very fitting for you.

Beautimous.

I know plenty of people with nice inkwork (read : stuff worthy of a gallery). A competent artist will be able to retain nearly any and all detail they lay down.

As stated above touchup work is a necessity for *ALL* tattoos. It's one of the quirks that comes with a living canvas.
