"...if you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living."
-Joesph Campbell, The Power of Myth
I have always loved The Far Side. My favorite is so dumb...it has an elk or deer standing there with a big striped target right on his chest, and a friend deer says, "Bummer of a birthmark, Hal."
Hey! Where did you find this? Where can I find MINE? Why are you SO SMART (heeheehee - or gifted)? Why am I not as smart? Why are bugs gross? Why is gum sticky? Why do people go crazy at the full moon? WHY???
That's a classic Far Side cartoon. *sigh* although Dilbert's good, I miss some of the 80's comic strips. (Although they never would have included such gags as telling the boss his network connection isn't lost because the token ring is missing, or telling him later that the token ring is lost in the Ethernet.)
I almost didn't graduate from High School due to a missing Far Side book...we checked it out one day to have reading material for a good lunch time "smoke"!
My favorites are where the people are featured as pets...somehow that fits!!

I laugh just thinking of that one.
